About Our Shipping

At Blue Whale Boutique, we want to keep things affordable…and that includes shipping. You’ll never pay more than $10 for your shipment to a single location within the continental United States.

We also want you to get your handmade goodies quickly and reliably, so we use USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days transit) with delivery confirmation. We’ll email you once your order has shipped with a tracking number, so you’ll know when it should arrive.

There is one exception to that rule. When we’re shipping tiny things (ie. just a few hair clips or a single notecard) it can get expensive to use Priority Mail. In those cases, we often choose USPS Parcel Post (which takes approximately a week) in order to keep your shipping cost low. If you’re ordering something very small but can’t wait for Parcel Post, let us know via email and we’ll be sure to ship it to you by Priority Mail for an extra charge.

When your order is in stock, we ship within 2 business days of payment receipt.  Please see our Custom Orders page for details on processing & shipping of special orders.

Our Return Policy

We want you to be thrilled with your purchases from us.  If you find that you are disappointed in our hand-crafted goods for any reason, please contact us right away and we will make things right.

If you find your item disappointing for any reason other than defect, you may return it to us and we will gladly replace or exchange it for something else of equal value.

If you’ve discovered a defect, we will gladly accept the returned goods (and reimburse you for the return shipping).  We will then either: (1) send you replacement goods at no charge or, (2) issue a full refund (including original shipping cost) via your original method of payment.

Regrettably, we are unable to accept returns of any personalized items, monogrammed goods or custom orders, except in the case of defect.  Please be sure to double check your order before you send it, in order to avoid errors. We may be unable to cancel or change personalized or custom orders once they are placed, but will do our best to accommodate your requests when possible.

Please make returns within 30 days of purchase. Exceptions may be made for gifted items.
